16 Emergency Calls in Two Months at Silfab Solar Raise Safety Questions for Fort Mill

In the last two months, Silfab Solar has had sixteen 911 calls requesting emergency services intervention and used an estimated $100k+ in community resources for its location on Logistics Lane.

Neighbors deserve transparency. This pattern raises serious concerns for Silfab workers, first responders, and our surrounding community, while using a large portion of our community's resources.

  • 1/12/2026 — 29-year-old reported chest pain and difficulty breathing

  • 2/4/2026 — seizure

  • 2/17/2026 — gas leak; caller reported people getting sick

  • 2/19/2026 — 40-year-old reported trouble breathing and confusion

  • 2/20/2026 — 37-year-old reported cardiac symptoms and chest pain

  • 2/26/2026 — 45-year-old reported severe headache and high blood pressure

  • 3/1/2026 — 21-year-old reported sickness and vomiting

  • 3/3/2026 — potassium hydroxide spill

  • 3/4/2026 — reported breathing trouble, inability to talk/swallow, and vomiting

  • 3/5/2026 — hydrofluoric acid leak

  • 3/9/2026 — neighbors reported emergency evacuation alarms

  • 3/20/2026 — dumpster fire; smoke and flames visible, fueled by broken pallets

  • 3/26/2026 — 23-year-old reported trouble breathing from inside the building

  • 3/28/2026 — 25-year-old reported abdominal pain, vomiting blood, lightheadedness, and headache

  • 3/30/2026 — person experiencing blood pressure problems

  • 3/30/2026 — panic alarms


We are asking:

  • What is causing these repeated medical and emergency incidents?

  • Why aren’t these patterns being more openly addressed?
