Double Your Impact This December

Updated: Dec 2, 2025

This month, every dollar you give to support the fight to Move Silfab goes twice as far.

Thanks to a generous group of donors, all gifts made this December will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $15,000, to help protect Fort Mill from heavy industrial manufacturing in the heart of our neighborhoods and beside adjacent schools.

Whether you give $25 or $2,500, your contribution is immediately doubled to defend our community’s safety, health, and future.

👉 Donate Now – Your Gift Will Be Matched!

Why This Matters to Every Family in Fort Mill

Silfab’s proposed factory is not a niche issue or a “one neighborhood” problem.

It impacts:

  • Property values across Fort Mill

  • Our children’s schools and daily routines

  • Our health

  • First responders and emergency planning

  • Traffic patterns and evacuation routes

  • Environmental and health risks

  • Long-term community planning and zoning integrity

This fight is about the future and integrity of our entire community—not just those closest to the plant site.

Standing Up for Neighbors Who Can’t “Opt Out”

Some families can move, change schools, or relocate over time. Many cannot.

They are:

  • Teachers

  • Single parents

  • Grandparents raising grandchildren

  • Families living paycheck to paycheck

These neighbors can’t simply pick up and leave. They don’t have the option to move away from hazardous, heavy-industrial operations if Silfab is allowed to proceed beside their homes and schools.

When we protect them, we protect all of Fort Mill. A safer community for our most vulnerable is a safer community for everyone.

How Your Matched Gift Helps

Your donation—doubled through this matching campaign—directly fuels our legal and advocacy efforts to:

  • Challenge illegal permits and zoning decisions

  • Keep hazardous materials away from neighborhoods and schools

  • Hold county leadership accountable

  • Demand responsible, properly-zoned industrial growth

  • Ensure transparency instead of backroom deals

Because Citizens Alliance for Government Integrity (CAGI) has fully submitted for nonprofit status, all donations after August 19, 2024, are expected to be tax-deductible once our 501(c)(3) status is approved. This means your gift is working harder than ever—for our community and for you.

Thank You for Believing in Fort Mill

Our community is strong because neighbors like you refuse to accept that heavy industrial manufacturing belongs beside schools and neighborhoods. You show up. You speak out. You stand together.

With this limited-time matching opportunity, your generosity is more powerful than ever.

Together, we’re protecting every family in Fort Mill—especially those who cannot opt out.
